I moved into my new apartment in Bundang last week and am thrilled by two things in particular: 1. The view 2. The fire escape plan. Here is the view from my 7th floor abode:
I get to see it all--the masses of cars, the electric orange marquees, the uber hip Korean twenty-somethings eyeing jewelry stands, shop windows, and each other. This view makes me happy. Even better than the view is my apartment's fire escape plan. Should I find my building engulfed in flames, I need not fear. A handy repelling kit has been installed next to my window. Why take the stairs when you can abseil in style down 7 floors of electric orange marquees?
