When Life And I Are In Cahoots

Henri Matisse, Le Dance, 1909

You know how life is composed of so many unexpected flubs, trips, and stumbles? You know how she never seems to tire of gifting us with "opportunities to grow"? You know how she is sometimes really really hard to get along with?

Yes, you know.

I would like to celebrate the fact that at this moment life and I are in cahoots. We are giggling and scheming. We are harmonious. She has infused joy in my dancing toes. I know this isn't permanent because I have 31 years under my belt. I know that there are always dips and curves to navigate (rightly so). But for now. For right now. I am happy through and through and through.
